EightyEight Dev provides bespoke software design, development and technical consultancy services. We are a UK-based studio.

When you use the contact form, we may collect:

• -your name
• -your email address
• -your company or organisation, if you provide it
• -your phone number, if you provide it (we will only use it to call you back if that is easier)
• -the message you send us
• -basic technical information needed to protect the form from spam or abuse (processed by Cloudflare Turnstile)

We do not collect payment information, and we do not use tracking or analytics tools on this site.

We use this information to:

• -respond to your enquiry by email or, if you provide a phone number and prefer it, by phone
• -understand what you are asking us about
• -continue a conversation if your enquiry becomes a project
• -protect the website and contact form from spam, abuse or automated submissions

We do not sell your personal information.

We use your information because it is necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running our website securely.

If you later become a client, some information may also be needed to discuss, prepare or deliver services.

We use trusted third-party services to operate the website and handle enquiries:

• -Cloudflare:website hosting, performance and security infrastructure
• -Cloudflare Turnstile:helps check that contact form submissions come from real people, not automated bots
• -Resend:routes contact form messages to us by email
• -Our business email provider:used to receive and reply to messages

These services may process information on our behalf so that the website and contact form can work properly. We choose providers with appropriate security practices and, where relevant, data processing agreements.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where this applies, they maintain appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or participation in a recognised international data transfer framework) to protect your information.

We keep enquiry messages only for as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage the conversation.

If an enquiry becomes a project, relevant emails and project information may be kept for longer as part of normal business records.

You can ask us to:

• -confirm what personal information we hold about you
• -correct information that is wrong
• -delete information where appropriate
• -object to how we use your information
• -restrict how your information is used

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office , the UK data protection authority.

This website does not currently use non-essential marketing or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or similar tracking tools.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the contact form from spam and abuse. This may involve processing technical information (such as browser and device signals) to determine whether a submission is likely to be from a real person.

If we add analytics, marketing tools or non-essential cookies in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required by law.
